TFOT - detailed discussion on past performance, neural net, etc.

I know that a lot of traders are using (or trying to use) various versions of TFOT. But, I can't seem to get anyone talking about it. Here are a few topics I hope will stir up some dialogue:

1. Backtesting over 2011 showed some excellent results. 2012, and so far in 2013, however, is quite flat. Even the vendor's myfxbook page shows this long stagnant period. Have any of you found parameters that work in 2012?

2. The neural net stuff in version 6 (and probably other versions) seems to improve out-of-sample performance by about 20%. I'm hoping to get some dialogue going on this subject, as the documentation provided by the vendor is pretty sparse. Maybe you've tried differrent NN parameters in the training process?

3. The neural net dll that comes with TFOT can easily be used by other EA's. Are any of you attempting to do this?

4. IMO, the information being exported to the NN logic for training is less than ideal. Anyone playing with using different training info?

I think there's a lot of potential with this EA, especially if we can work together on squeezing value out of it.
