About the author:
The author graduated "magna cum laude" at the Bocconi Business School of Milan in Italy and spent 15 years in Milan, London, Chicago and Lugano working in the investment banking and hedge fund industry: in 1998 he was Economist and Country Analyst in the Italian branch of Bank of America, in 2000 he was market maker on European Government Bonds for Bank of America in London and later proprietary trader for a Cayman based Global Macro hedge fund in Switzerland. Over the last few years he has studied and developed alternative investment models and strategies for proprietary trading.
